Harriett graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and minoring in Māori and Indigenous Studies.
Harriett grew up in Wellington and later moved to Christchurch to undertake her university studies. While there, she developed her passion for Māori legal issues.
Harriett joined Dixon & Co Lawyers in January 2025, having previously worked in the Resource Management space. Outside of work Harriett enjoys exploring the great outdoors Aotearoa has to offer, especially when it involves tramping, camping or fishing.

Māori Legal Issues
We provide advice in relation to all aspects of te Tiriti o Waitangi claims, Māori Land Law and Post-Settlement Governance. We represent claimants before the Māori Land Court as well as the Waitangi Tribunal in historical Inquiries, Urgent Inquiries and Kaupapa Inquiries.
Environmental & Planning Law
We assist where legislation or planning documents impact on what you can or cannot do with your land, business, home, or resources. We advise on new resource management legislation. We help with urban planning, infrastructure development and environmental issues.
